Dear Valued Client.

I want to personally share an important update regarding your care at Strategic Wellness. We are so grateful for your loyal patronage and helping us to grow to the top Functional Medicine Clinic in the Catawba Valley, now helping over 3,000 clients Feel Good, Look Good, and Do Good. As our practice continues to grow and evolve, I’ve made the decision to reduce my day-to-day patient load so I can focus more deeply on supporting our growing number of complex and newly referred clients, as well as continuing to build and support our Wellness Membership programs.

What does this mean for you?

While I will remain actively involved in your care as the clinical director and collaborative provider, your primary visits will now transition to our exceptional new Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Maelyn Cranford, DNP, FNP-C. She has been carefully selected and trained under my direct guidance and shares the same philosophy of root-cause, personalized, and compassionate care that defines our practice.

You are in excellent hands.

Dr. Maelyn, DNP, FNP-C brings a rich background in both NICU and adult health, which speaks to her calm presence, clinical depth, and deep compassion. Her experience across the lifespan allows her to connect with patients in a grounded and thoughtful way. While she is new to the world of functional medicine, she brings a fresh perspective and an eagerness to learn that aligns beautifully with our collaborative, patient-centered approach, and we’ve worked side by side to ensure a seamless transition for you. I will continue to review your case and collaborate closely on your treatment plan.

If you are experiencing new or acute symptoms, I will prioritize seeing you directly.
